The Worldwide Conference of Integra Internantional, the Worldwide Organisation of independent offices providing Tax, Accounting, Auditing etc. services and in general business consultancy, held in Athens from 23 to 25 October at the Royal Olympic Hotel and organized by the Tax - Accounting firm "Prooptiki Ltd" has finished successfully.
In the conference participated members of Integra International doing business in 44 countries and employing 2500 relevant professionals at their 124 offices - companies.
On the main topic being "Globalization - Economic Perspectives", speeches and presentations of foreign and Greek speakers took place.
Significant was the presence of the Greek speakers giving speeches on the topics "Globalization and Greek Perspectives" and "Business possibilities and opprtunities in Greece", messrs Filippos Sahinidis (PASOK MP), Georgios Papagounos (Professor of Philosophy), Athanasios Avramopoulos (Business Consultant), Georgios Milonogiannis (Lawyer) and the Eurobank executive Mr. Tasos Anastasatos who presented an anatomy of the Greek Economy.
The 83 conventioneers had the opportunity through the speeches and the discussions that followed to get thoroughly updated on the investment and business operation statutory framework in Greece.
Tax issues and accounting standards applications were also discussed as well as matters relevant to the worldwide situation and the credit crisis. |
